Originally, this was going to be a short blog post. Just an update on how January is going for me. Anyway so: Very bad! It turns out! I try to get blog posts out on Sundays, as you may know- so it's ~17:30 and, well. I get a message on twitter from the singular person I keep my twitter account for. The message contained a link to an article - about how the UK is updating the online safety act where every message you send online is to be required by law to be scanned beforehand. Every message. Including encrypted ones. So. Fuck.
I don't know how this is going to turn out but; it's just upsetting. And tiring. And... I don't know. It's like. I care about my online security but government apparently does not care about anyone's online safety. Or anyones safety in general. Clearly they don't care about childrens' safety. Fuck me. And they're talking about banning VPNs. Makes me wonder why I bother.
Here's your originally scheduled update on the January stuff:
In other news: I've picked up Jet Set Radio again. I was even gonna stream it on twitch but I couldn't get OBS to pick it up. I don't remember how to play, though, so I've had to start over- A Date With Death I misclicked and it opened and I played the entire game and the DLC in. A single day. I only played to one ending. I had so much fun with it. I gave my MC's pet snake so much affection.
